Standard Code Signing

Standard Code Signing certificate is a universal certificate for signing codes dedicated to programmers. The certificate enables to sign the binary code of a program electronically and to have an electronic signature verified by a recipient of an application. Standard Code Signing certificate ensures integrity and authenticity of a software suit or a single file, and it authenticates authors. The certificate carries the name of an author of an application and/or data of a company that designed it.

Standard Code Signing combines the best properties and advantages of the Software Publisher Certificate with Java Code Signing and Microsoft Authenticode certificates and therefore it can be used for the most commonly used operating systems.

Application

  • VBA macros
  • Apple (MacOS X) applications
  • Firefox and Netscape Add-ons
