Once you have correctly integrated your connection between IT systems and the WebNotarius^® service the process of verifying certificates and signatures is completely independent of various and ever-changing legal, organisational and technical requirements. Any changes or issues of compatibility with new solutions are handled by the WebNotarius^®, service and not the IT system of the client.

Transfer of responsibility

The service provider, i.e. CERTUM General Certification Authority, remains responsible for the correct verification of certificates and electronic signatures.

Proof of verification

Following each verification of electronic signatures or certificates, the user receives an electronically signed and time marked verification confirmation. In line with the applicable law, such a confirmation is considered a valid proof, which may be used in the case of litigations.
