Change in the rules of providing trust services and their sale on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus

In view of the current geopolitical situation and the information we have received about the possibility that our services and products may be used inconsistently to our Certification Policies and Certification Practice Statements, we have decided that to introduce the following restrictions on our trust services, which came into effect on March 3:

• We have suspended sales for our Certum branded services and products to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus – the decision also applies to sales activities carried out by our partners delivering our products to customers in these countries.
• We have suspended issuing new SSL/TLS certificates for .RU and .BY domains and for companies registered in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus.
• We have suspended issuance of other qualified and non-qualified certificates for companies, organizations and citizens from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

Due to the dynamic situation we are facing and the possibility of new economic sanctions issued by the European Union, we will keep you informed of any further developments.
